How It All Began
IFCN was born from a mother’s prayer. Long before it had a name, a team, or a platform, it was a cry from the heart of Apostle Betty Besigye, a cry for the children of this generation, a cry that God heard.
Out of years of personal intercession, a vision began to take shape: what if there were a global network of believers who would commit, together, to covering the world’s children in prayer? What if parents were not left to navigate the spiritual formation of their children alone? What if the Church rose up; not just as a Sunday institution, but as a daily, interceding presence in the lives of families?
That vision became Intercessors for Children of All Nations. From its beginnings in the greater Boston area, IFCN has grown into a ministry that reaches families, churches, and intercessors across multiple nations, united by one prayer, one purpose, and one generation.
Today, IFCN is led by Apostle Betty Besigye and co-founded by Mrs. Sarah Ssewaya, two women who carry the burden for the next generation with faith, tenacity, and a deep love for the body of Christ. Together, they have built something rare: a ministry that is both powerfully spiritual and practically grounded; one that understands that winning the next generation starts in the prayer closet and in the living room.
